Lesson Information The primary focus of our riding lessons is to create independent, knowledeable horse savy riders. With this in mind, our riders learn much more than just how to ride a horse through various gaits, we teach natural methods to encourage trust and horse language like "join up". Riders will also learn about the anatomy of the horse, horse behaviour, conformation, care of the horse and tack, how to handle horses in different situations and horse/rider safety.
We offer beginner lesson packages, developing rider packages, and a show group package.
Lessons are available in individual or small group packages consisting of 10 hours in total. A small group will consist of no more than five riders. If there are issues with weekly attendance, let us know, and we at Darden, will try to work with your schedule. Remember to not schedule an activity directly after your lesson because we almost always extend our lesson beyond the hour mark!
